Sunday, May 14, 2006 ::: DECLARE YOUR LOVE So here's a post about Mother's Day. We all know how great and deep and unconditional only a mother's love can be, so I'm not making further elaborations here. They say every day should be a Mother's Day. You should treat your mother well every single day etc etc... But Mother's Day is a rare occasion which I think while it's an over-commercialized occasion yet it's still ok, and I dare say, its existence is mandatory to human kind. So Habour City has a rather decent Mother's Day 'fest'. Not exactly a festival - but then they had flowers and everything nice set up outside the mall just at the entrance to Gateway, with a loud PA system playing a song that can only be appropriate for this occasion. Perhaps no other pop songs can beat this one, because it says it all, in a really cheesy fashion. Oh it has a good tune attached to the message too. So check this out. Recall the good old times. When Spice was actually not a joke but a phenomenon. It's from their first CD (their first and their best IMO). Had an early Bday feast at Small Fat Lamb. And as always the lamb is close to divine. Avoid the roasted lamb and ribs were not up to par, but no matter what it's still my favorite hot pot place. Even grandma who claims she can't have lamb for the 'sewness' (cantonese) ate an awful lot. She can't really tell the lamb from the beef, I guess.
